Welcome to Live Love Play and this livestream highlight from Fallout 4. In this video I stumble upon a Trapper Gang hideout in a ruined tanker and decide to engage in a little slaughter. How long has it been since I woke up in this living hell? Weeks, Months, my god has it been a year? I can still see the flash of nuclear fire in my mind, the rumbling roar of the explosion rings in my mind like it only happened yesterday. But it wasn’t yesterday, it was almost 200 years ago.
This world, this wasteland, everything wants to kill me. I don’t know how I survived those early days but I did. Now I’ve found myself in Far Harbor, a fishing village on an island just north of The Commonwealth. If I thought the Commonwealth was bad, this place is worse. Mutated man eating fauna aside, the entire island is covered in a thick radioactive fog that will kill you if you’re exposed to it for too long.
This constant fight to survive has changed me. Before the bombs I was a layer, housewife, and Mother. My only experience with guns was the occasional visit to the shooting range with my Husband. Now…I’ve lost count of how many lives I’ve taken. The creatures are easy, rad-roaches, feral ghouls, and Super Mutants aren’t human, not anymore. But Raiders are. The raiders of Concord were human and I mowed them down with a minigun with glee.
Its simple to perceive them as inhuman monsters as most raiders rush in to fight and kill with a frightening blood thirst. The Trappers are even worse. In fact I just met a small group of Trappers that capture and eat people lost in the fog of Far Harbor. They eat people, they’re Cannibals. Of all the terrible things to succumb to, of all the terrible things I’ve seen in this nightmare future, cannibalism is the most soul chilling. I cannot abide these beings. They aren’t human anymore. I won’t be a meal for the mad, I won’t let anyone else become their sustenance. I’ll kill them all.
